In 1968, the corporation entered a new phase of development when an employee group, spearheaded by F. E. Weisensale, President from 1968 to 1988, purchased the company from T. Brady Saunders, owner since 1948. Expanding the concept of employee ownership, in 1975, an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) was established whereby all the employees share in the ownership. Since 1986, the ESOP has had 100% ownership of the company.
